-'Arcana Magi Memorial: Chapter 1' will be up and running on Fictionaut this Friday December 3rd at 4:00 PM EST.
"Azure Martinez is not your everyday Magi. She is on mission to harness the power of the four elements. With help from her friend Sora Narutaki, Azure is determined to learn her powers at Memorial Academy."

-No status changes on the submissions of 'Arcana Magi Rush' and 'Feral' Short Stories this week.

-Fictionaut Webmeisters of course, fixed the Group Section Link Errors last week. Everything has been in working order since. So all the chapters for Arcana Magi and The Impossible Man are back up and ready for your read.
-Arcana Magi Memorial Chapter 1 wil be up and running on Fictionaut Friday December 3rd.
"Strange things are happening to the Students and Faculty of Memorial Academy and Azure Martinez and Sora Miyazaki are trapped."

NEWS and NOTES: November 15, 2010 (UPDATED)

Welcome to another round of NEWS and NOTES.
NEWS:
- Fictionaut is experiencing some technical glitches on their website. All of the Groups Sections have their story links removed. Which means that Arcana Magi Universe Group Section and The Impossible Man Series Group Section have the links to the chapters missing. So if you're accessing the chapters through the Group Sections you won;t find the links there. However the individual chapters links, like the ones on the sidebar here and in my personal page in Fictionaut are working so can get to the chapters you're looking for. Sorry for any inconvienence.
- Now for some Arcana Magi news: Arcana Magi Memorial 1st draft is underway. It is already shaping up to be an exciting 5 Chapter Novellete. Each chapter is going to be 2500 words minimum. This is a great challenge for me since I have to give the story a beginning, middle and an end. Here is a quick preview of Arcana Magi Memorial:
The students and faculty of Memorial Academy are drained of their Mana. It's up to Azure Martinez and Sora Miyazaki to stop the ones responsible for this.
- There is no word yet on the status of Arcana Magi Rush and Feral for publication. I got my eyes and ears open.
No NOTES Today.
UPDATE: The webmeisters at Fictionaut found the link problem and fixed it. All of the chapters in teh Arcana Magi Group Section and The Impossible Man Group Section are back and in working order. Thank you for your time and patience and I apologize for any inconvenience.

NEWS and NOTES: November 1, 2010
Greetings fellow readers.
Welcome to another edition of NEWS and NOTES.
NEWS:
Well let's start with title issues. My zombie short story 'The Walker' is undergoing a new title change. I know changing the title again seems silly but, I want an awesome title and given the theme of 'The Walker', I feel it would be appropriate to re-title it 'Feral'. It sounds right, given the nature of the story, and I hope that it fits the bill in the end run. So what is going on with 'Feral' right now? Well the second draft is completed and is undergoing final cleanup before I ship it off to Submission Road to Lit Magazines.
Arcana Magi Rush is still waiting for review in the Submission Pile. Honestly it may take weeks before I get word on its status. In the meantime I was thinking about doing an Arcana Magi Novellette for Fictionaut. I'm still trying to figure out the definition of a Novellette, number of words it take to write and so on. As soon I get 'Feral' settled in and I figure out the Novellette, I will look into writing Arcana Magi. Keep in mind, this is still unofficial because I don't know what will happen in the coming weeks.
No NOTES today.
